Canadian girl out and aboot - Celebrity (ass) siting

This is one of the funnier encounters, mostly because I was completely unaware of what was happening. I was working in the Children's department when a woman, her mother and her daughter arrived. The woman and her daughter were both wearing very cool hats and had long hair, which is what I noticed first. The woman had long curly brown hair and a fur coat, which she put on the floor along with her bag and a bottle of Evian water. The woman and her daughter then proceeded to pull out a ton of books, which they read while lounging on the floor. The woman was wearing extremely tight low cut jeans with a sequinned belt. The jeans were so low that I could see almost half her ass. I realized later that she was not wearing any underwear. I did think that she was attractive, but to be honest, I could see so much of her butt that I was uncomfortable.
The woman and her daughter continued to pull out and make piles of books and sit in front of shelves, reading. At one point, the daughter said, "It's so great that we've decided to do this." Eventually, they all left. The woman was struggling to the counter under the weight of her books.

Later, I asked my co-worker if he had seen the woman who bought such an enormous number of books. He replied, "Oh, you mean Kate Beckinsale."

I guess Kate wandered up to the counter and then proceeded to talk about how much she loved Canadian book stores and what a great selection of books we had, etc.

When I got home, I googled her and found that she used to study literature and is reported to not like wearing underwear. I also learned that her mother is British actress Judy Loe.
